Residual pressure valves reduce undesirable ‘spongy’ pedal feel or ‘travel’. The valves hold a preset pressure from the valves to the brakes ensuring a firmer pedal feel. On competition cars were the master cylinders are lower than the brakes on each wheel,  holding a preset pressure of only 2lbs ensures that the brake fluid does not siphon back into the master cylinder. With a 2lb residual valve fitted to each wheel the brake pads will be held closer to the rotor for instant braking of the first push of the pedal.

• Residual Pressure valves hold a preset pressure from the valves to the brakes.
• On competition cars where there is an inherent spongy pedal feel or more pedal travel (that some drivers do not like) these units relieve that feeling by keeping the pistons marginally out.
• This method in our opinion is far better than using knock off pads On a competition car were the master cylinders are lower than the brakes on each wheel by holding on a preset pressure of only 2lbs ensures that the brake fluid does not siphon back into the master cylinder.

For best results Install in the line close to the caliper it is clearly marked in and out .
