With over 2000 sold to date this is our most successful caliper for high end competitive GP4 cars, often referred to as “the big 4 pots.” Due to popular demand in 1990 Compbrake recreated these excellent brakes bringing them into the new millennium by manufacturing them from a solid billet of aluminium with reduced flex and added strength and a considerable weight saving. These are a direct replacement for the MK1/2 Escort RS and Capri, Westfields and early lotus and a variety of modern kit / component cars, etc with a choice of brake friction material compounds.

BIG 4 POT PISTON STOPPING POWER WITH CONTROLLED PERFORMANCE…
Stainless steel brake pistons are installed with a new high temperature external seal for ultimate long term reliability and protection. Fitted with a quick release Porsche design sprung clip to make brake pad changing easier. Pistons fitted sizes are opposed to ensure extremely high consistent levels of friction under braking, and even help with pad wear.
